VF Corporation Welcomes Gap Veteran as Chief People Officer

VF Corporation, the owner of iconic brands such as Vans, The North Face, and Timberland, has appointed Karen Kubat as its new Chief People Officer. This strategic move signals the company’s commitment to elevating its HR function and strengthening its competitive edge in the global marketplace.

Kubat brings a wealth of experience and expertise to VF Corporation, having held various leadership roles at Gap Inc. for over two decades. Most recently, she served as Gap Inc.’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources, where she was responsible for leading the company’s HR strategy, talent acquisition, and organizational development initiatives. Under her guidance, Gap Inc. implemented innovative programs that fostered employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion.

In her new role at VF Corporation, Kubat will oversee all aspects of the company’s human resources function, including talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR operations. She will be based in VF Corporation’s Denver headquarters and will report directly to VF Corporation Chairman, President, and CEO Steve Rendle.
